Movement Disorders Education
The Division of Movement Disorders contributes to the subspecialty training of our department’s neurology residents. Our affiliated Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders Center is a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence. The center is nationally recognized for its extensive educational programming for patients, families, healthcare providers and the community at large.
The center also manages the Movement Disorders Fellowship, which offers one-year and two-year options. The two-year program affords fellows access to clinical experience as well as the opportunity to receive training in clinical trials methodology through formal coursework. At the conclusion of training, the fellow is expected to submit a grant proposal.
